This evaluation is a complete working version of VCLZip Pro 4. The only restriction is that it will only run while the Delphi or BCB IDE is up and running. Please be sure you are compiling your application with debug turned on.
When compiling the registered version of VCLZip you have a choice of compiling with or without Unicode support for pre-2009 Delphi/BCB. Since you can’t “compile” the evaluation we have compiled the evaluation both ways for you. The difference is that “with Unicode Support” means VCLZip uses WideStrings for anything to do with filenames and paths (the FilesList and ZipName properties for example). The biggest reason for using the non-Unicode version would be if you have an existing application that uses VCLZip and you aren’t ready to make the modifications yet. Delphi/BCB 2009 evaluation is only in the “with Unicode” version.
